This is a concept I have been tinkering with for some time and first from a series that I am planning to build. The original picture was taken in Puerto Madero, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The cranes have ben out of service for many years, but they are still standing and now serving the purpose of decorative sculptures.

Almost immediately that I saw these framed, I wanted to have something hanging from them.

Replicating the lighting was another issue, as there are not many visual cues close. Finally I set the lighting but to achieve maximum distance between the light and the subject, there was no way to set it up the right side, so we did it inverted, poses were done all as Lefties and they were flipped in Photoshop. Adding shadows and reflections completed the set.
