Services

As I have mentioned before, I rarely do weddings. But when there is a very good reason, I do, and I do go overboard and pour my heart into it. Estefania is my niece and she has finally found that special one, but that is not what me go over the fence. Knowing her and knowing the location, I knew this was going to be a spectacular opportunity to do great images, so I could not do any other thing than to offer my service as the official photographer of this destination wedding.

I had the honor to count with Mr. Fernando Carrizales as my second shooter. My former photography teacher, mentor in this area of life and a long-time friend Fernando obliged to move away from his rather Bresson-like candid capture of life and lived through the wedding behind my 70-200 snapping paparazzo style.

After packing almost a hundred pounds of equipment, checking through two different airlines and a 4-hour car ride; with a badly sprained ankle and working through the day both as a photographer and as a set technitian, while running on adrenaline and pain killers, we managed to walk away with 2,500 shots to edit!

This one is a special gift to the couple, one of my first Cinemagraphs, a technique that I am really excited about -thanks Diego for stabilizing it!-. The "soundtrack" in the background is the ambient noise at this beautiful location. You can hear the sound of the jungle in the distance and the yellow and blue macaw calling every once in a while.
