Author's view of photography

A poem is never finished, only abandoned.
- Paul Valery

Read here about the author's view of photography as an expression.

"I don't sell by the pixel"

While resolution, quality printing and good framing are necessary to make print Photographs enjoyable, those are not the factors that lead to a remarkable image, in the very same way in which distortion measures, sampling rates or decibels cannot tell us which song we will get hooked on.

Above all, I believe that Photography is form of self-expression. That it is a way of letting your soul out to play with light, and then having it get caught again, in an image.

I also believe that the emotional state of the photographer "leaks" into the image and that it can be eventually felt by the viewer.

Such is the light under which I would like my work to be seen. I hope you enjoy it. I would appreciate any comments on my Blog.
