These are especially good times for me as two of my images have been accepted for the Palm Beach Photographic Centre 's "INFocus" 12th annual juried exhibition.
Both images are from my latest collection and 100% digital.
"MetaWave" is a shot of the shore in Lima, it is -what I believe- a typical Huba abstract shot. The relatively quiet waves of the shore in Lima produce this wavy pattern on the sand. I found it also quite interesting that a wave is capable of creating another wave, as many times happens in nature, it is created "to its image".
"Distraction" is a somewhat more candid and perhaps classical shot of a pair of kids trying to do away with boredom, while a stranger pretends not being disrupted by them. Motion bluer is just natural from the lighting conditions and reinforce the image in my opinion.
"INFocus" will be open from June 11th until August 9, 2008. Museum hours are Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There is a $3 admission fee for non-members. The Palm Beach Photographic Centre is located at 55 NE Second Avenue in Delaray Beach, FL.
